Todd J. Tuell is a stockholder in the firm of Tuell & Young, P.S.
A graduate of the University of Washington School of Law in 1989, he previously received his undergraduate degree in business administration from the University of Puget Sound.
Todd has been a life long resident of Tacoma, Washington. His practice emphasizes trusts,
wills, estate planning and probate, real estate, business formation and representation, elder law, contracts, personal injury and family law.
His wide legal interests provide a balanced and informed knowledge critical to meeting and fulfilling the needs of his clients.
Todd is a member of the Washington State Bar Association (and a member of the Real Property, Probate & Trusts Section), Tacoma-Pierce County Bar Association, and licensed to practice before all Washington State courts and the United States District Court for Western Washington.
He is a volunteer attorney at the Tacoma Rescue Mission legal clinic and was President of the non-profit South Sound CFIDS Support System.
When not practicing law, Todd is involved with his family, church, basketball, baseball, bowling, running, and is the Assistant Varsity Girls’ Basketball Coach at Tacoma Baptist High School.

Heather M. Young is a stockholder in the firm of Tuell & Young, P.S. Since her graduation in 1997, from Seattle University School of Law, Heather has been in private practice in Pierce County, Washington. Heather’s emphasis is in
family law matters. She has been and is active in local and state bar associations. When not practicing law, Heather enjoys spending time with her husband,
son and cats, gardening, traveling, and reading with her book club. |

Sophia M. Palmer is an associate attorney at the firm of Tuell & Young, P.S. A
Cum Laude graduate of the Seattle University School of Law in 2006, she previously received her undergraduate degree in
Society and Justice from the University of Washington. Sophia has been a life long resident of the Pierce County area. Sophia began her law career as an intern in the Felony Appellate Unit with the Pierce County Prosecutor's Office and after graduation she became a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney. While at the Prosecutor's Office, Sophia handled domestic violence, DUI, and other misdemeanor cases. She has been in private practice since October 2007 focusing primarily on
family law. She has argued before Division II Court of Appeals, Pierce County and King County Superior Courts and Pierce County District Court. Sophia is a member of the Tacoma/Pierce County Bar Association, King County Bar Association, American Bar Association, Robert J. Bryan Inns of Courts, and the Washington State Bar. She volunteers at the King County Family Law Neighborhood Clinic and the Tacoma Historical Society. Sophia is enthusiastic about her Italian heritage and enjoys cooking Italian food, traveling, working out and watching football.

Mike Aronoff is of counsel with the firm of Tuell & Young, P.S. He is a graduate of the University of La Verne in San Fernando California, receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1971 and his Juris Doctorate degree two years later in 1973.
He was admitted to the California State Bar in 1974 and practiced there for many years before moving to Washington where he was admitted in 1991. His primary areas of practice include
family law, probate, incorporation, business and general law issues, including California
legal matters where he is still licensed.
Mike belongs to several professional organizations and has been admitted to practice is several courts, including the Washington and California State Bars, the King County Bar, the Tacoma Pierce County Bar Association (Including the Family Law Section of both).
He is licensed to appear before the United States Supreme Court, the Federal District Court for the Western District of WA, the Federal District Court for the Central District of California, and the Federal District Court for the Central District of California.
Mike also was the Founder of the Covington Chamber of Commerce and served as both a Committee member and President. He also served on the Covington Governance Strategy Committee (1995-96, Chair 1996), Covington Planning Commission (1997-2003, Chairman 1997-98) and was on the
Founder Committee, Incorporators for City of Covington (1996)
He served on the Kent School District Strategic Plan Team in 1994 and the King County Unincorporated Areas Committee and the King County Executive Committee for 2000 Update to King County Comprehensive Growth Management Plan (1999).
Mike's personal interests include gardening, travel, and reading horror stories
